Our first stop was Tortuguero. A perfect way to start exploring CR! We went to see the turtles which was a special experience. After picking up our car we started driving around CR, coming from Europe you have to get used to the speed limit of 60 KMH, but after a while you know why... We would recommend Tirimbina Rainforest Center at Sarapiqui. It’s beautiful! We were lucky to see the Arenal Volcano, we had a clear sky over there. From Arenal we went to Samara, a relaxing place at the Pacific coast. Next was Monteverde, finally I fully understood why we needed a 4x4. Up till now the roads where in good condition. But the road to and from Monteverde is a real 
“ massage” road. We did the El Trapiche Tour (sugarcane and coffee tour). The kids loved it! It was the best guided tour we had in Costa Rica! From Monteverde we went to Manuel Antonio. Next were the Dolphins at Dominical, the thing our youngest daughter was waiting for! Unfortunately no whales but we saw the dolphins! The quetzal was next on the program, we saw several of them in San Gerardo de Dota a true hidden valley. With a last stopover in Turrialba we ended our great holiday in Puerto Viejo at the Caribbean coast.
So to summarize, we would recommend CRS tours to anyone who would like to visit CR. From the first contact on we had a very good feeling on the way you assisted us in creating our itinerary and selecting the hotels for us. We traveled with our 6 and 10 year old daughters. It was great! CR is a very good country to travel with children, it’s a zoo without a fence. It delivers a good mix of nature, beach and swimming pools in order to keep everybody happy!"
